This is a series of raku magnets I made for a show. Some were large and some were small. I varied the texture, color and shape a good bit. I did not want them perfectly square and even and neat. I wanted them irregular and rustic..almost like you could pick one up on the beach as you were walking. I will give you a little hint, hundreds of small pieces aren't so easy to fire and reach into a roaring furnace of fire with tongs to pick up one by one, then thrust in to the waiting cans of shreaded papers. But I still love them and they make a nice showing on my frig.
