Rolling out a slab of clay. Using a pastry roller set out a ball of clay that has been kneaded and put a sheet of canvas underneath. Then roll out the clay as if it were dough. To get an even level use two half inch lengths of wood on either side of the clay. Building with slabs has endless possibilities whether it is a box or a tile.
