Space to work is an important factor when you are doing art. As you can see in this photo, my classmate has carefully prepared her area. She organizes large pieces of glass, small chips, tools, and glue all with in easy reach. Our studio functions as a pottery studio in the afternoon. Many of the student have areas at home where they work and bring projects to be completed when they arrive at class. Glass work is intense. One must concentrate and focus to cut correctly and to avoid cutting oneself. I find myself much tireder after glass class, than clay.
