The handmade cups and mugs seen here are a collection over the years of different potters. Every trip or art show it is something to collect and add.
A friend of mine started the idea by bringing me a gift of a mug every time she went to the mountains. In the years since I have added to the collection. My friend is a potter also, and her mugs are pictured here in the upper right hand corner. They are wonderful mugs, that do well for coffee or soup...just right.
Living with art and appreciating artisans enriches our lives. It is a commitment though, for it is not as cheap as buying mass produced goods. But you have to agree each one of these mugs has a personality, an individuality that calls out, choose me....and that is the fun, you get to choose the one you want for coffee for they are all different!

Always loved Ashville. I think I used to have a mug like the third one too. =) So gorgeous up there.
