For the next week our base of operations will be New Orleans and you get to go too! We will experience the vibrant culture of blues, arts and foods that make New Orleans unique. It is a city has its own beat and personalty like New York, Chicago, Paris, or Berlin. It is a one of a kind place. I hope you enjoy our travels and explorations this next week. It is the blending of many cultures, from French, Italian, Spanish, and African. It is a wonderful vibrant city that has seen much in its history and survived to tell us all about its struggles through its arts and foods. The city lost over half its population when hurricane Katrina almost 7 years ago and overcome many an obstacle to survive. There is still much of the city that has not rebuilt and some parts that will never be rebuilt...but the culture survived and the people are resilient and tough. We will take you with us as we explore this wonderful city and no matter where you live you can get a taste of this very unique city of crawfish, blues, zydeco, beignets, art, and so much more......
