I think you will enjoy this. I watched the CBS interview with Steven Naifeh and Gregory White Smith, the two authors of the new biography on Van Gogh's life. It took ten years of research and work to bring this book to completion. There are over 600 books published about Van Gogh, but no one had done a definitive biography of his life before. Van Gogh only painted ten years of his life and in the last seventy days of his life he painted a painting a day...70 paintings. I hope you enjoy this, I found it fascinating offering new details and a new understanding of Van Gogh's personality, life details, and mental illness. He remains one of the most captivating artists in more recent art history.
