There are few things more treasured than wonderful friendships. Friends who are as easy as a lazy summer day to spend time with : no tension, no pretense just acceptance of who you are and who they are.
When you add art to that scenario it enriches your friendships even more. In the photo's below you see Ann, Mark and Lyman ( two of our very best friends). One of the things that we enjoy a great deal is to take photo's together, as we did here at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. Other times we take photo's of something far less grand, but interesting in its own way.

I encourage you to share art in your life and friendships. Just taking friends along with a camera, looking at the beauty and details of life and sharing. It is something you won't forget. Perhaps you will go back to the studio and use the ideas later. Perhaps what you capture will become the germ of an idea for a future art piece.
If you are serious amateur photographers like Lyman and Mark, you may go back and work on your photographs. Both Mark and Lyman have sites on line with their wonderful photography which I will list for you at the end of this article.
I think one thing a camera does when you are out and about is that it slows life down, it focuses your attention. You see details you would normally miss. I thank Mark and Lyman for thinking of the photo shoot outings, it has certainly added a richness to our lives. Try it for yourselves, go out on a photo shoot with friends, share a good meal, a bottle of wine and talk over the day! I guarantee you will be richer for the experience!
