Heading out of Florida one always passes a constant, the Fruit Stand. Fall and winter is the season many oranges and grapefruits ripen. Tourists pull over at gas stations, orange juice stands, places that sell little fake alligators all to buy a bag of oranges for friends as they leave the state.
