I first saw CANDY Chang's work in a New Orleans publication. It showed a house boarded up since Katrina painted with chalk board paint and the phrase "Before I die" painted line after line repeatedly living room for an answer. Candy's desire to connect others to each other in a positive way that pitches art and social environmentalism in a new light. Her ideas are touching, visionary and needed. As we disconnect from our world with technology, we more than ever need to be connected personally in an ever challenging world. Watch the ted event movie and you will be touched. I am ever interested in young artist who see our world and interactions to it so differently.
