A NOD TO A PASSING ARTIST
THANK YOU MAURICE SENDACK FOR ALL THE WONDERFUL ART YOU BROUGHT TO US THROUGH THE YEARS!
As an art teacher I read many a Maurice Sendack Book to children over the years. The children loved his work and the support of children's fears and doubts. I think he helped many a child in so many ways. His art was rich and mysterious, it drew children it. Sendack gave a great gift that will go on living long after this day we all have to say good bye.
