Dichroic glass is like magic, it glows from within like a living being...it is earthy, metallic and mysterious all at once. It is expensive and takes a long time to make, in chambers that look like something out of a science fiction movie. Metals are forced on to the surface of the glass. I find myself gravitating to certain colors intuitively. Some remind me of Superman, the man of steel, from comic images as a child. Maybe the strength of Superman is passed into the jewelry like a talisman for the owner. Saying the power is yours, I bring your strength forward to the world.
