The work is rich and mysterious and the leaves shimmer against more placid backgrounds drawing you to the central image of his ghost like women. I like the work, it intrigues me and makes me want to know more. It draws me in, as if a story I want to know the ending of or a dream I wake up half way through. I have worked only a very little with silver or gold leaf, it is not easy to apply and to work as Kunkle has is quiet amazing. It must take a meticulous person to achieve this level of crafting.
