ON THE ROAD AGAIN

TODAY WE HEAD FOR RALEIGH, NORTH CAROLINA

We have a short stop over in Raleigh, but with the aim of visiting a found object, assemblage artist dream- a GIANT SALAGE STORE.  We have heard of this place for years, it is in an old warehouse that used to be a hosery and belt maker factory.  They salvage all kinds of odds and ends from businesses and medical labs in the Research Trangle(Raleigh,  Chapel Hill, Durahm area).   After finding my battery charger for my camera I am set and ready for more pictures to share with you.

We will report in on this artistic find and if it is what we hope it is!  There is nothing more exciting for a collage artist that a bunch of interesting odds and ends no one else wants anymore!!!  After that next stop is Washington D.C. and oh my what we will have to share there....wonderful museums, art galleries, the Eastern Market, ethnic restaurants of all kinds, and a city filled with history....aka Lincoln, the movie and the statue, Fords theater and more.
