SUNSET OVER LAKE PONTCHARTRAIN

A few minutes before sunset I grabbed the camera and drove down to the Levee and got these great shots looking over Lake Pontchartrain in New Orleans...actually Metairie, Louisiana.     

It is amazing the beauty that is constantly around us that is so easy to miss if we are occupied with other things.  This absolute majesty of grand art work like a master painting on a giant canvas is available to us all the time, but we so often forget to look at the beauty that is everywhere in this world.  

Stop a minute and look around, replenish the artist within!
