Our eyes constantly scan our environment taking in far more than we comprehend.  Sometimes it is just a glance off the side of our vision, or a fleeting moment, but whether we are aware or not somewhere our minds have recorded what we saw.  Artists are trained to see a bit more, pay attention to the details and to be highly observant.
